Find Your Board – Fall 2026 | For Nonprofit Representatives

Take part in a networking event dedicated to volunteer board service!

The VBM is proud to invite you to Find Your Board, the must-attend networking event dedicated to nonprofit board governance.

Building on the legacy of Concertation Montréal (CMTL), Find Your Board brings together Montreal nonprofits and individuals who are actively looking to serve on a board of directors. The initiative is now led by the VBM and will be held twice a year going forward.

The event aims to foster targeted connections between organizations seeking new expertise for their boards and candidates with diverse backgrounds who are ready to contribute to a nonprofit’s mission.

Only active members of the VBM may participate in the event.

To participate, please submit your expression of interest by Monday, October 26 at 8:00 a.m.

A total of 25 organizations will be selected, with a view to ensuring balanced representation across sectors and organization sizes. All organizations that submit an expression of interest will receive a response by October 30.

Only one representative per organization may attend the event.

Please note that while some candidates may be able to connect with you in English, most participants will be
primarily French-speaking.

Practical information :

• Date: Thursday, November 19, 2026
• Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Location: KPMG offices – 600 De Maisonneuve Blvd. West, Montréal, Québec H3A 2B8 (Peel metro station)

This edition will take place in an intimate format designed to foster meaningful exchanges among participants. Approximately 50 candidates are expected.

No virtual platform will be used to facilitate connections. Before the event, you will receive a list of registered candidates, including a short biography and a link to their LinkedIn profile.

Please note that while some candidates may be able to connect with you in English, most participants will be primarily French-speaking.

Mandatory information session :

An information session for selected organizations will take place on Tuesday, November 3, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This session will help you understand how the evening will unfold and make the most of your participation. Please reserve this time in your calendar now.
