Find Your Board – Fall 2026 | For Board Candidates

Looking to join a board of directors? Take part in a networking event dedicated to volunteer board service!

The VBM is proud to invite you to Find your board, the must-attend networking event dedicated to nonprofit board governance.

Building on the legacy of Concertation Montréal (CMTL), Find your board brings together Montreal nonprofits and individuals who are actively looking to serve on a board of directors. The initiative is now led by the VBM and will be held twice a year going forward.

The event aims to foster targeted connections between organizations seeking new expertise for their boards and candidates with diverse backgrounds who are ready to contribute to a nonprofit’s mission.

To participate, you must be an active VBM volunteer member in good standing. You can complete your membership registration for free through the Find Your Board registration form.

Practical information

• Date: Thursday, November 19, 2026
• Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Location: KPMG offices – 600 De Maisonneuve Blvd. West, Montréal, Québec H3A 2B8 (Peel metro station)

This edition will take place in an intimate format designed to foster meaningful exchanges among participants. 25 nonprofit representatives are expected to attend.

Given the limited number of spots, priority will be given to individuals who are actively seeking to become involved on a board of directors.

Please note that while participating organizations may be able to connect with you in English, most conduct their board activities primarily in French.

An information session will take place on Wednesday, November 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This session will help you understand how the evening will unfold and make the most of your participation. Please reserve this time in your calendar now.
